"Understanding a client's immediate need and future vision is the key to being able to deliver effective and impactful training. Over the
years I've leant that 'one size' does not fit all. Great learning points have to be integrated with client objectives if it is to be a successful investment of their time and money. "

I realized that the best way to maximize this investment was to truly engage the adult learner - they're interested in what's in their head; their heart and can only learn when they know that you believe in and are passionate about what you are saying and how it relates to them in their job and in their lives.

That's why we created newleaf and chose to work with outstanding Brand Partners such as Lesley Everett and Marcus Child.

Straight-talking with an English accent is what you get from me. I know from my experience, that there are about 74 different methods of learning but the point I'm making is that the 'frequency' with which participants personally tune in on is slightly different and my aim is to always facilitate this into one beautiful orchestra.

"OK, as a CPA, I've heard all the accountant jokes! It's very important though that there is return for every dollar invested in training and development and I know that what we deliver is highly valuable to people and organizations".

To me one of the greatest joys in my life is to help facilitate learning, to be right in the thick of things, sleeves rolled up, sometimes learning as much myself alongside the participants but when that LIGHT switches on in people's eyes and you know that they've got it, will use it and can work it - I'd do this job for no fee!

My Mom was a great teacher and I learnt from her that it's better to show than to teach - she often worked with kids with learning difficulties and in later years, lectured some very intelligent adults. I saw that across those two spectrums, the style was the same - draw out and add to the knowledge that's inherently already in there rather than pushing the program.
